Dhampire Heritages

Pathfinder First Edition General Discussion

Since the Blood on Night book is out, I have been trying to find info about what the heritages look like. Are they on par with the other Blood books? What is posted seems pretty cryptic and inconsistent between people.

Has anyone heard anything beyond pure speculation about these heritages making their way into PFS?

To create a dhampir, you must have a Chronicle sheet that opens the race as a legal option at character creation.

Note: Racial feats, racial traits, and racial spells are only available for characters of the dhampir race. Racial equipment and magic items can be purchased and used by any race as long as the specific item permits it.

The hunger, Jiang-shi, moroi, nosferatu, vetala, vampire characters, and vampire transformations sections of this book are not legal for Pathfinder Society play.

Equipment: force net, necklace of fangs, and stake of righteous; Feats: Conviction, Hymn Singer, Life-Dominant Soul, Potent Holy Symbol, and Schooled Resolve; Heritages: all heritages on pages 20–21 are legal; Roles: Ancestral slayer; Spells: display aversion, domination link; Traits: all traits on page 19 are legal for all dhampir characters. All traits on pages 20–21, except mind trapper, are legal for their associated heritages.

The heritages, which are legal, seem to be very similar in how they work to the heritages for Aasimar and Tieflings in their books.

There are only 4 of them, so there isn't that wide a choice of swap-offs. The stat swap I wanted isn't in the group, but, since I still haven't finished rebuilding my Dhampir after Undead Lord got banned, I am taking a good look at my options now.

Thank you. There must have been a recent update on the resource page......or I misspelled something in the find box :P

I wish there were more cons close to me, I live in a huge city but the last one I heard of was several states away several months ago. I am guessing this is the only way to get the boon?

Do any of the heritages boost Wis and Cha? I have been wanting to make a cleric of Groetus for months now but I have been holding out to see what would happen with this race.

Two of the Four boost Wisdom, One boosts Charisma, none of them does both.
