Qinggong SLA and Expensive Spell Components

For example, the Dragon's Breath spell uses a dragon's scale. The Restoration spell uses.diamond dust.
If a qinggong monk uses either of these as qinggong powers, are the materials still needed?

Let's be honest here. The one I really care about is Restoration.

A spell-like ability has no verbal, somatic or material component (CRB p. 221). I can't see anywhere that the archetype changes this.

Nope. SLAs ignore material components. He's not actually casting Restoration or Dragon's Breath. He's replicating the exact effects of teh spell, but he's not casting it.

Which is also why you don't qualify for Prestige Classes, Feats, and such that have spell prerequisites just because you can cast an SLA that falls into that category.
