Splitting Scar Hexes

Rules Questions

The Exchange

If I mark a few members of my party with the scar hex, I can then use any hex on them from up to 1 mile away. That's great for healing, fortune, and cackle. However, if I toss in the split hex feat, can I then reuse the scar hex on an ally while targetting an additional creature (in this case an enemy) with a scar? I think it makes sense according to RAW, but I'm not 100% sure.

Secondly...am I right in what I said above, that you can cackle on creatures with scars up to 1 mile away? Again, I think this is correct, but seems sneaky.

Just gonna throw this in here as I said it in a different Witch-related thread.

Witches are poorly designed, poorly worded, and often just completely up to DM fiat for how they actually work at your table. The Witch class is a catastrophe for Pathfinder.

The scar doesn't force you to target them, it just allows you to, so no problem there. They new person you're splitting the hex onto has to be within 30 feet of the first though, so that my an issue with the distances you're working with.

Cackle's just another hex, so as long as the person you're using it on "is under the effects of an agony hex, charm hex, evil eye hex, fortune hex, or misfortune hex caused by the witch " it should be fine.
