Stealth: 1d20 + 38 ⇒ (6) + 38 = 44

Also, keeping my eyes open to locate you. Dunno if it matters when someone runs around really, but, you know *shrug*

Attack: 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (14) + 20 = 34
Damage: 1d8 + 14 ⇒ (6) + 14 = 20

The Necropolis - Day - Late Morning - Tomb Day One

Ezra's AC is 30 -3 from dex so it becomes 27. You hit for 20. Have to check how many HP of damage she has taken

Gorik's arrow flies true and strikes Ezra hard before she can react to his sudden appearance.

Female Human Fighter(Two-Weapon Warrior) 11

Is he low to the ground or not?

Male Half-Orc Oracle 11

Nah, pretty high up. 25 feet I would say, fairly close to the ceiling. He's not looking to tangle in melee anymore.

END OF TURN

The Necropolis - Day - Late Morning - Tomb Day One

what are your hit points at?

Female Human Fighter(Two-Weapon Warrior) 11

I have 25. Gorik has 21.

Male Half-Orc Oracle 11

Panting, Gorik flies up, then darts over to the side. I've had enough of this, he thinks. Raising one hand high, energy crackles around it, before he throws it forward, with an echoing yell, a massive peal of thunder ringing out from next to Ezra.

Move action to P3, then standard for Thunderburst, targeting the intersection of Q16 and R17, though it's a 25-foot burst, so it's pretty much gonna hit regardless.

Damage: 11d6 ⇒ (3, 5, 5, 4, 1, 2, 2, 2, 6, 1, 3) = 34

DC 20 Fort Save to halve the damage, and if you fail the save, you're also deafened for 1 hour.

Female Human Fighter(Two-Weapon Warrior) 11

Thunderburst Fort save: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (19) + 13 = 32 I take 17 damage.

Animated Shield 3/4

Start: P15.
Move: Pull PoCLW
Standard: Drink PoCLW

PoCLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6

Healed for 6 HP

END OF TURN

Male Half-Orc Oracle 11

With a burst of speed, Gorik moves forward. "Are you finished with this crap yet, or not?" he calls out, darting around the pillar. "It's time we ended this!"

Quickly muttering a spell once more, he releases another beam of light upon her.

Move action to P17, then standard for another searing ray (I wish I gave Gorik more blasty stuff. He's clearly needing to use a lot).

Ranged Touch: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (6) + 17 = 23
Damage: 5d8 ⇒ (1, 5, 8, 7, 7) = 28

Also, I think I was off by 2 on the attack roll last time I did this. I did 19 for some reason rather than 17. I'm assuming your touch AC isn't higher than 30 though, so...

...I hope I didn't kill you there... that's a lot of damage.

Female Human Fighter(Two-Weapon Warrior) 11

You doubled my current HP. I am 2-3 HP away from Death.

"At least I can say I got you to use a lot of your spells. That should make your future challenges a lot harder. It might just make you into a real man", she says with a smirk.

Male Half-Orc Oracle 11

Eep. Well, if you can't do anything, I'll be casting stabilize immediately, probably followed by a CLW.

I also have scrolls for Breath of Life, but damn, I didn't expect I'd come that close to needing them o.o

Female Human Fighter(Two-Weapon Warrior) 11

I have Potions as well. It was closer than you would think though. You were at 21 and I was at 14. If I was using my Magus or Inquisitor we probably would have been closer.

Male Half-Orc Oracle 11

^ Fair enough, but I don't want you to bleed out before that happens, at least.

Well, not that we're really in combat now, but Standard for Stabilize, then move action to land on the ground, and free to dispel the wings.

Waving his hand, Gorik quickly sends a wave of energy forward, sealing Ezra's wounds, before he lowers himself to the ground. Dispelling the wings, he staggers to the ground.

He chuckles at the jibe. "Well, you certainly were much more trouble than I expected. Guess those duels of yours taught you something, at least."

Female Human Fighter(Two-Weapon Warrior) 11

Huh, My group never noticed Stabilize was usable at range...

"Well the old saying is: A woman is the thing that will cause a Man the most problems."

The Necropolis - Day - Late Morning - Tomb Day One

There is a loud crack and the water in the fountain jumps. A crack across the entire floor has appeared. You look around and realize that the tentacles have dangerously warped the lattice work of the windows.

Gorik hears the Heralds voice once more. "Well done but the blood of your opponent is the key. to the gate. Quckly before you are consumed"

Male Half-Orc Oracle 11

Aw, seriously? Totally not something Gorik is interested in doing.

Gorik looks up as the voice whispers in his mind. "Oh, you're f***in' kidding me, right?" he says, not to Ezra, but to the room at large.

The Necropolis - Day - Late Morning - Tomb Day One

The voice returns. "Cover your palm in blood and touch the lock and it will open before you. Until this happens you both will be trapped here" His voice fades. looking at the locked gate there is a circle of golden metal set in the center. the glow of magic surrounds it. But it is the scrapping from behind that draws your attention. Darkness is coming out of the archways where the lower towers had been. now open the thing outside has found a way in.

Male Half-Orc Oracle 11

Speak of the devil, I just sent you a PM to that effect :P

The Necropolis - Day - Late Morning - Tomb Day One

Gorik touches the gate and with a screech it unlocks. As he turns to look back at Ezra a glow spreads across her and lifts her into the air. With a clap of thunder she and rune disappear from sight.

The rushing returns along with the pain as the rune seems to reknit Ezra's body and return it to full health. With a sudden stop Ezra lands on the rocky ground of the cliffs from which it all started. he has returned.

It is morning and the sea is calm.

The herald is gone but his crystal obelisk remains though dull and lifeless. You survive to fight another day...

Gorik blinks away the light and looks around. The closed gate beckons. He remembers the Heralds words. That blood is the key. His palm covered in the knight's blood is now the key to the next tower. He opens the gate to the stairs going up
