I have this Druid that dipped one level into Sorcerer. The druid has Place Magic (+1 CL for one round so many times a day) and Strand of Prayer Beads (Bead of Karma) (+4 CL for 10 mins, once a day). Can I use either of these abilities towards the Sorc CL? The requirements say that I must cast divine spells (or be a certain type of druid), but it doesn't say I must use them towards my divine spells. Am I trying to twist this too much? I kinda really think it'd be cool for him to pick up a couple scrolls of Permanency (CL 12-ish), and not totally screw them up every time.
I think the clear intent was for them to increase you druid caster level and your divine caster level respectively, but can see that it is not directly specified.
As a DM I would probably allow Place Magic to bump all your caster levels as you are drawing extra power from the ley lines to bend to your will... the prayer bead of karma is a bit more troublesome to me...
