The kickstarter doesn't make the 1mil before the target date. Would it be possible to do something like what Star Citizen has done to keep the funding going? They have closed down the kickstarter / crowdforging but are still accepting donations for those who are interested.

I am hoping to see something like this happening for this one as well seeing as I am pretty hyped about the game, and want to get my guild into the beta for it and help build the game.

Unfortunately if we can't raise the 1 mil by the target date then none of us get charged. I think the chances of that are very low at this point though.

Either way a subscription program like the one for SC would be cool. All I would ask is that we get skymetal from it.

maybe smaller kickstarters for individual things eg "150 000 to expand the map to cover "insert region name" or "to add these races" or "improve this system" so that they can still boost things in smaller runs, plus have the donate option going.

Lets imagine there will be no chance to get any of the kickstarter stuff again, and make sure this one succeeds. there are people that won't donate to the kickstarter if they think they can get the stuff later.

I would also suggest paizo only distributes the material to kickstarter backers and label them all as 'limited runs'.

There has been lots of doom and gloom on so many threads here and on the KS pages that sometimes it is discouraging. Thankfully there are also many posting by GW and Paizo staff that show a level of confidence and enthusiasm that I am confident it will succeed . I will add to this post the day after the KS finishes...

Yea, Ryan's posts in the other kick starter not succeeding thread pretty much convinced me that they will raise the money and the KS will reach its goal. Added is the fact that they have plans for the last push to convince anyone on the fence to pledge.

I believe the KS will reach its goal.
