Question on magic armor.
Do the abilities that cost gold and not +1 enchantment still count as an enchantment?
I understand that armor bonuses max out at +10 with a max of protection bonuses as a +5.
Would a +2 shadow, slick, glammered suit of armor count as a +2 suit of armor with costly add ons or a reduced price +5?
Also could you have a +5 ghost touch, spell resistance (13), slick suit of armor? Would it count as a +10 or an illegal +11?
I searched online and found no good referance.

A suit of armor with a special ability must also have at least a +1 enhancement bonus.
all special abilities, regardless of flat cost or increase in enhancement bonus for cost, require the armor to already be a +1 suit minimum. not +1 equivalent, but actually +1. but flat costs do not increase the enhancement bonus at all. you can have up to +10 in enhancement or enhancement equivalent, and every single flat cost special ability you can possibly put on it.

I believe it would be the +2 shadow slick glammered suit of armor.
I believe they are expensive initially, so that could be why.
EDIT: Probably a ninja. I'd like to know where it says flat bonuses require a +1 armor.
The PRD:
"A suit of armor with a special ability must also have at least a +1 enhancement bonus."

Yes I very much understand that. I am asking about the added enchantments after the initial +1 magic enchantment.
In other words I have +1 shadow leather armor. Does it count as a +2 set of armor or a +1 set of armor with an additional ability. Does the shadow count as an enchantment to the +10 total a suit of armor can have.

I don't really know why you need someone to say this, but since nobody has yet:
No, the enhancements with a flat cost do not count as increasing the plus.
