I was rather surprised when I saw a Pathfinder compatible book that had all of the paragons converted to PF, except the half-dragon. I guess that's because the template's technically not for players anymore, which is unfortunate. I'm still allowing it in my games though, and I've got a player who's going to be going up as a red dragon/hellfire wyrm hybrid. So, I decided I'd let her have the chance of taking a class that'd enhance her powers.
Let me know what you think. A lot of it is the original design, and some I stole from a guy who was making dragons into class levels (ie. savage progressions) and hellfire wyrm was one of them.
Half-Dragon Class
Aligment: Any
Hit Die: d12
Class Skills
The half-dragon's class skills are Diplomacy (Cha), Intimidate (Cha), Knowledge (all skills, taken individually) (Int), Perception (Wis), and Sense Motive (Wis).
Skill Ranks Per Level: 4 + Int Modifier.
In addition, each half-dragon paragon class gains class skills based on its parent dragon
Hellfire Wyrm: Acrobatics (Dex), Bluff (Cha), Linguistics (Int), Spellcraft (Int)
Table: The Half-Dragon Paragon
Lvl BAB F R W Special
1st +1 +2 +0 +2 Sorcerous blood, Frightful Presence
2nd +2 +3 +0 +3 Natural armor increase, Keen Senses
3rd +3 +3 +1 +3 Breath weapon, Draconic Blood
Weapon and Armor Proficiency: Half-dragon paragons gain no proficiency with any weapons or armor.
Frightful Presence (Ex): Whenever you attack or charge, all opponents within a radius of 30 feet who have fewer Hit Dice than you become shaken for a number of rounds equal to 1d6 + your Cha modifier. The effect is negated by a Will save (DC 10 + 1/2 your character level + your Cha modifier).
A successful save indicates that the opponent is immune to your frightful presence for 24 hours. This ability can't affect creatures with an Intelligence of 3 or lower, nor does it have any effect on dragons.
Sorcerous Blood (Ex): A character's half-dragon paragon levels stack with sorcerer levels for purposes of determining the caster level of arcane spells granted through sorcerer levels. For example, a 2nd-level sorcerer/3rd-level half-dragon paragon's caster level is 5th for the spells she can cast as a sorcerer. This increased caster level affects only spells that the character can cast; it does not give her access to higher-level spells or more spells per day.
Keen Senses (Ex): At 2nd level the half dragon gains superior low-light vision, allowing them to see four times as well as a human in shadowy illumination and twice as well in normal light. It also has darkvision out to 60 feet. If it already has darkvision, increase its range by an extra 60 feet.
Natural Armor Increase (Ex): At 2nd level, a half-dragon paragon's natural armor bonus improves by 1.
Breath Weapon (Su): At 3rd level, a half-dragon paragon's breath weapon increases their damage one progression (d8 becomes d10) to that of their true dragon heritage, and deals the same elemental type of damage. If the half-dragon is already capable of this then they instead gain an additional use of their breath weapon.
Draconic Blood: At 3rd level the half-dragon gains the respective blood ability its parent would receive at 2nd level, using Half-Dragon levels for any class-based effects. The Half-Dragon can also turn cleric, sorcerer or psion into a favored class.
Half-Hellfire Wyrm abilities
Breath Weapon Damage for Hellfire is d10 half fire/half divine, and Draconic Blood grants them the Lesser Fiendish Form ability and +2 Cha.
Lesser Fiendish Form: A Hellfire Wyrm can assume the form of a tiefling as a standard action at will. The dragon can remain in its tiefling form until it chooses to assume a new one or return to its natural form.

Hey kev, good to see people homebrewing... i liek the Paragon class, im going to make one for the lizard along my version of the lizardfolk..anyways..I like the paragon, however i would of change the breath weapon..instead of it becoming a die higher and additional time per day, you could just allow them to use the breath weapon 1d4 per rounds..so they would be closer to their Dragon kin.

I was thinking about that, but there is a feat that'll give that to you anyways, and if you're really good at building (like my anti-paladin was with hers), you're going to have a crap ton of breath weapons per day anyhow. Like her, right now, she's got 8/day. As well, the feat requires you to be 7 HD, so if you took this early enough, it'd defeat the purpose of the feat. Might even get it three levels early. Be no point to its existence if I can always get it three levels early.
Wish you luck on making the lizardfolk paragon to your own specifications. I think I've seen a few homebrew ones online for the 3.5 version, but they were neither here nor there for power.

Btw you should check out kobolds press: Players guide to the Dragon empires, it's loaded with option for kobolds and dragonkin..now i didnt think this was enough to in my games i let Half-dragons and lizardfolk access to these options..anyways you should be sure to find some kick ass stuff in there.

I'm going to try and answer all of these questions and concerns...
1) Yes, I revised the half-dragon specifically for the anti-paladin in my WotW campaign I'm running. I want to be able to give her options.
2) The book in question is called "Legends of the Shining Jewel". It's a campaign guide, and paragons just happen to be one of the chapters. There's a couple of new races too, including the distinction of High Elves being the equivalent of the Noble Drow for stats and bonuses. Forest elves are the core elves, and Gray Elves are ranger elves. Go figure. They also converted the different paladin classes from 3.5's Arcana book (Freedom, Tyranny, Slaughter) as well as the others. Unfortunately there's a type for the Gnome and Halfling HD for their paragon classes. It's supposed to be d8, not d6.
3) I totally forgot about Kobold Press releasing that. Unfortunately with Christmas right around the corner I'm way too broke to spend the money to buy it. I'm allowing 3.5 stuff so Draconomicon, Races of the Dragons, and Dragon Magic are allowed to be used, to some extent. Everything's always DM discretion of course.
4) Dragon blood is not entirely my creation. As I said, I took a couple of things from others. It's a universal Half-Dragon thing. I'm just working on hellfire wyrm right now. One dragon at a time. The guy who did create it originally intended to have someone do up a whole list of dragons under the "Dragon Descendancy" category. There's currently 24 with another 15 yet to be added. In total, I think there's going to be at least 10 psychic dragons in the mix.

Nice, how you enjoying way of the wicked...it's funny because my group is a vampire,half-fiend, half-elemental,mutated space alien thing, an ogre and a frogman of an unknown alignment that claims to be the creator of all life and and had his godly powers stolen...so i wonder what freaky party i will get in the Way of the wicked.

I'm really enjoying Way of the Wicked with my group. I found a PF converted version of the Whisper Gnome for one player who wanted to play one so he's very happy with his whisper gnome ninja. Don't have a space alien, but I do have an erinyes half-succubus (Devil Player's Guide has Pit Fiend, Erinyes, and other devils as base races) so that's probably pretty close. Crafty is a template from Iron Kingdoms' Monsternomicon, in case you were wondering.
So the party consists of:
an advanced genie-blooded vishkanya slaver (rogue archetype in Elves of Darkness)
an advanced crafty whisper gnome ninja
an advanced crafty samsaran metal wrecker oracle
an erinyes half-succubus devil spell-less ranger (combination of the Open Design and Devil Player's Guide archetypes)
a cunning creature prodigy tiefling fire wizard (crazy high Int bonus)
a dragonblood greater red half-dragon anti-paladin of Asmodeus (greater half-dragons are 3/4 dragons with extra abilities but the elemental weaknesses)
an infernal human cleric of Asmodeus (vile human with tiefling blood from Book of Darkness and DMG II)
...And holy crap, Merry Christmas to me. Thank you bunches. ;_;
