Hi all I am making a tough magic killing character for melee. So the barbarian fit that concept real well. We are using 15 point buy and I debating on how to make this character......to get dual talent for human or keep the skill point and feat? I think I won't be too feat intensive for this build but tell me what you think? Thanks :)
This is what I have currently. So I don't think it would be that feat intensive...so maybe I might keep dual talent? We are level 5 and I have a forgotten realms feat called Tireless so I can rage hop easier :), I traded my two traits for it.
The stats: for dual talent
str: 19
dex: 14
con: 15
int: 11
wis: 10
cha: 7
the stats: stay normal human
str: 19
dex: 12
con: 15
int: 10
wis: 10
cha: 7
1st Power attack
3rd raging vitality
5th Iron will
7th extra rage power (witch hunter)
9th Bloster resilience or combat reflexes
11th extra rage power( eater of magic)
13th dazing assualt
15th raging brutality
rage powers:
2nd superstition
4th lesser beast totem
6th beast totem
8th spell Sunder
10th greater beast totem
12th come and get me
14th strength surge
16th reckless abandon
18th Ghost rager

I haven't seen AM BARBARIAN so can't comment on that.
Other than that I kinda like the build.
Ok cool thanks. Yeah I was going for a really tough warrior concept that was trained into by slavery, a magic destroyer. So I know you like it, what do you like about it? Also I asked about is dual talent worth it for this kind of build? Or having that extra feat for this build would be better? Because I am not sure lol.

Ok cool, thanks. I think so too that Dual Talent is well suited for this role. However, I was wondering in my feat build. Is Bolster Resilience a good feat to take since I can't get fatigue with my Tireless feat from FR or is it not worth it chewing up an extra feat? Does my feat build seem useful or helpful in what I am doing? Thanks

Well, putting the bonus in CON might not be a bad idea, but not for the usual reasons of rage. You get most of your rage from your levels rather than con (except for 1st level, the one where you might need it most). It does help with you fort save. Since you are going to be charging head first at magic users screaming, you might want your saves to be good. If you are not putting it into Strength, the bonus might actually be better spent on Wisdom, to help you poor will save. Every bit helps.

Personally, if you're going to be specifically hunting magic-users, you're going to want to boost your Will save early in the game. I'd swap out Power Attack for Iron Will and just fight with a two-handed weapon (casters are squishy anyway). I'd also bump your Wisdom up, at least to a 12.
Str 16, Dex 15, Con 14, Int 10, Wis 12, and Cha 7. (And remember to hit Dex at level 4 so you can boost your Touch AC - rays are a mutha)!
Now, you're looking at the following saves: Fort +4, Ref +2, and Will +3. (+5 while raging).
In the end, you're going to want to stay mobile and avoid saves that cancel your effectiveness in combat (cough cough, enchantments like daze, hold person, and, later on, dominate person). Fort saves should be easy for you. Reflex saves can be addressed with Lightning Reflexes, or you can dip Rogue for two levels and really mess folks up (Evasion and sneak attack + a rogue talent).
Just some ideas.

Or take four levels of the scout rogue archetype to get two rogue talents and 2d6 of sneak attack that happens every time you charge...which works well with pounce. It would delay you from getting that pounce though.... Still, the best defense against magic is a great offense in a magic user's face.

Once superstition comes online you'll have all the save u need and forget about dex, with ghost rager ur touch ac will be great anyways and ur always gonna get hit... Max str/con imo.. I had a Barb get 13th level and hes as follows.. Although he was a 20pt buy
Str 18+2race+3level+4belt+6rage = 33
Dex 10
Con 16+4belt+8rage = 28
Int 7
Wis 11
Cha 7
Saves while raging with a +3 Cloak of Resist, Iron Will and +1 Will Trait
Fort +29
Reflex +16
Will +19
i think a high charisma pally would have a hard time matching those saves at the level.. your rage powers look solid imo..

I think you are investing way to much in Str initially and could get away with an 18 (post race bump). You could then invest those points in other stats (Dex / Wis). If you have come and get me as a rage power you ABSOLUTELY need a decent Dex and combat reflexes. If you don't invest in your AoO then you might as well not take it and sink points in Con instead of Dex.
I would start with a 14 Dex and bump it to 16 with a +2 Str/Dex belt. This plus combat reflexes will give you 4 AoO / round. This should be enough to utilize come and get me.
The key is to get enough attacks to make up for the -4AC.
What you want: Have enough AoO to kill the monster before they finish their attacks. Thus CaGM is actually mitigating damage even though you take a -4AC.
What you don't want: 1 AoO won't be enough. You may do some damage but you probably won't kill the monster. However, that monster now has a +4 to hit you on all of its attacks. Thus, CAGM is actually hurting you.
