*Half orc with a scythe stands in the barroom, petting his canary.*
"Me never get image out of head." He sighs. "I do mission, it for Countess, recover stone and get message from girl. I get back to Absolalm, give skinny human stone and message.
'did you read the message' she say, me shake head.
'not care' I tell her. She smile as she reads slip paper, I start to go.
'wait, do you not want your reward' Batty woman was removing slip of dress as approach.
'stay away from me' I say to her. 'Me do this as favor to friend. I still not believe you and he... uhg...' Me tell you, I not get that image from head, not for a long while.
'Well, go, then, but if you ever change your mind?' She stood there, no top, smiling. I ask her question before I slam door in face.
'Did he ever say how he got burns?' I ask her. She not like question, her eyes had narrowed before the door shut."
Grog downs a full tankard in one gulp. "Never get image out of mind, me tell you."

A slender woman, a brown haired Varisian in a leather tabard and mithril shirt, slides over another drink over. This one is about half the size of the Grog's tankard and seems to be mostly brown water, though the way that she drinks her own glass shows a respect for it that belies it's deceptive appearence. The tankard hooked on her belt seems to hint to her being an experienced drinker.
"Iffin ye be looking ta lose your sight of the crazy woman we occasionally do favors to, you'll do better dropping that in your next tankard. It will give it spine." She said in a strange mix of varisian and garudian accents. "And if ya need a better image after a few of THOSE. I have a tale to tell.. if you can keep it under your hat... about how I went into a magic tapestry to get Grandmaster Torch some.. flowers." The blue eyes of the woman sparkle with unspoken delight and mischief.

Grog sniffs at the liquid, then drinks a sip, his pinky even rising up off the cup. He puts it down, moving the liquid across his molars and finally gulping.
"Not bad. Almost as good as grog." He looks at her for a moment. "The drink, not me." He gets another... call it a beer, and dumps about half of the liquid into it, swishing it around a bit.
"So what worse image than countess and our own Torch being... comfortable?"

Me not think Torch and Paracountess like that. Torch just use her for information, and give her Pathfinder favors in return. Torch teach me be diplo... diplom... errr. He teach me be nice ta folks if ya need somethin' from them. Me think Torch too smart to bed Paracountess.
But me not too smart to do that. *grin*

"Diplomacy has it's place." Kyrie says as she takes another shot and drops it in her pint of Ale, leaning down to sip up the excess before it can overflow and then leaning back to give the mug the right amount of 'swirling' to mix the contents around before taking a deep gulp.
"You have it right at the beginning. For example, when myself and three Osirini sages get sent to Tien because we're 'the right folks' for the job and you don't toss the Venture Captain giving you the job out the window." She grinned at the image of one in particular, by the initials 'DD' that she had day dreamed of tossing out said window again and again.
"Then you need it to occasionally get information. You can't always hang a person off a bridge." She said with a dreamy smile. "Then there is the after, when we're back in the lodge and you use diplomacy to NOT throttle your Venture-Captain when they complain there is blood on the widget you brought back.." She took another sip.
"As for the Paracountess.. I don't like whips, chains or hot wax." Kyrie said calmly. "If I wanted to be chained up.. I wouldn't have shot the slaver who thought he could leave me too close to my musket." She patted the massive musket by her.

"Ah..." Grog concentrates on the particulars that Kyrie points out, but seems a bit lost. Looks can be decieving...
"Me just keep quiet, let the smart ones do the nice things, wait to be able to hit things with scythe." He swings the drink, though careful not to drink to much in one go. "I not wise, but me smart enough to not mouth off at delici... delicam... Times."

He turns to the wee one. "Oh, there was no doubt, they... " *wince* "It only reason I hamstrung into doing the tasks." He drinks a little more, grinning wide as he puts down the mug. "Good stuff."

Katisha glances around the drinkers...
"I worked with the Paracountess before I came to appreciate the Grand Master..." her eyes get a little misty and far away.
"I think I could understand of the Paracountess has ... a fondness for Torch. I know I do..." shy smile into her brandy glass.
A little giggle "After all, haven't you ever wondered what he's the Grand Master OF?!"
