Holding the Charge + Deflect Arrows: What happens?

Rules Questions

Alright, so let's say I'm some Wizard who wants some martial defense, so I select Deflect Arrows as a feat, and I have a spell that is charged on my hand, and my other hand is occupied with a Wand/Rod. I have the Deflect Arrow feat. A creature shoots a projectile at me and would normally hit me. What happens?

1. Is it possible to use Deflect Arrows with a spell/charge that's held in the same hand used to deflect a projectile?
2. If I have a spell charged and use Deflect Arrows on an incoming projectile, does the spell discharge on the projectile that was shot at me, ending the spell and outright destroy the projectile?
3. If #2 were true, does this mean that the Wizard in question would be silly to pick up the Snatch Arrows feat because of said paradox?

1.) I see no reason why not.

2.) I believe they "discharge upon touching any object"

3.) I also believe it says they "discharge HARMLESSLY", so no.
