Hey all. I was wondering if there's any good fan fiction out there that "novelizes" an Adventure Path's story line? It can use the iconics, OCs, whatever, I'm just really curious if that sort of thing is out there.
Thanks in advance. :)
FWIW, I'm actually in the planning stages for a piece based on the first four installments of "Rise of the Runelords", but I haven't had time to put fingers to keyboard on the topic yet. :S

There are indeed a lot of campaign journals, some here on the messageboards, others elsewhere. My "Rise of the Runelords" journal is on Obsidian Portal, for example...
There are at least four other well-documented Runelords campaign sites also on Obsidian Portal. My favorite Runelords site on Obsidian Portal is Ketherian's "Rise of the Rune Lords" campaign site. It ran from November 2009 through April 2012. You can read their campaign log, starting at the first entry.

One of my players wrote a few chapters about the early parts of Serpent's Skull. Here is the first one.

Is it allowed to novelize aps?
I would imaginie that a fanfic novelization would be OK if you kept to the terms of the Community Use Policy. You have to give credit where it's due, and no one can charge for access to it. (i.e. you can't publish it behind any kind of paywall.)
But you would need to check with the Paizo technical team for a definitive answer.

Correct—most Community Use projects, including fan fiction, can use proper names (characters, deities, artifacts, places, etc.), locations and characters from products listed in Section 1 of our Community Use Approved Product List. Dialogue, plots, storylines, language, and incidents from those products may only be used in campaign journals and play-by-post or play-by-email games.
So if you're interested in writing fan fiction, take the opportunity to tell your own stories!
