I'm a little bit confused by this section and surprised after searching the web that I couldn't find anyone else wondering about it:
"If the eidolon only has a single natural attack, the attack is made using its full base attack bonus and it adds 1-1/2 times its Strength modifier on damage rolls made with that attack, regardless of the attack’s type."
It only mentions specifically natural attacks. So does that in fact mean, that combining manufactured weapon attacks with _one_ natural attack will give that _one_ natural attack full attack bonus and 1.5x str?
Makes a strong case for Slugger Eidolons, especially early level, to put in a single natural attack along with their greatsword.

But why? RAW says that regardless of the attack's type, be it primary or secondary, if the Eidolon only has 1 natural attack it will be made with full attack bonus and 1.5x str.
Regarding RAW for manufactured weapons, the only thing it states is that it will make all natural attacks into secondary... which seems to have no meaning if it is the only natural attack the creature has.
Edit:
I mean if it is like you say, which might be RAI, shouldn't the wording be:
"If the eidolon only has a single natural attack and no other attacks, the natural attack is made using its full base attack bonus and it adds 1-1/2 times its Strength modifier on damage rolls made with that attack, regardless of the attack’s type."

If the eidolon is using ONLY a natural attack, and it ONLY has 1, say, a bite attack, then yes, it gets full BAB and 1.5 strength.
however,
"Creatures with natural attacks and attacks made with weapons can use both as part of a full attack action (although often a creature must forgo one natural attack for each weapon clutched in that limb, be it a claw, tentacle, or slam). Such creatures attack with their weapons normally but treat all of their natural attacks as secondary attacks during that attack, regardless of the attack's original type."
even if it's the one and only natural attack it has, the moment it starts swinging around on a sword or a club or a quarterstaff (manufactured weapon) it gets changed to a secondary natural attack and follows the rules that apply to secondary attacks, as to WHY it is that way, i don't know, it simply is the way the rules work. =)
