Help with Paladin with Eldritch Heritage (Starsoul)

Hey guys. I'm in a game where I'm playing an Aasimar Paladin that will be running up the Eldritch Heritage tree. I've got a GM trait that allows Knowledge (Nature) as a class skill through the use of a trait. I've definately built this on fluff, and while I want this to work, I still wish to remain viable in combat and general play. I'm Sword and Board Scimitar, if it helps. Any advice?


Well, you get a good ranged attack with the meteors right off and it will help you vs flying enemies as well as giving you something to hit them with if it takes more than 1 round to close on your targets. Aurora will help as non-aggressive CC or cold damage in a pinch. You already have cold resist as aasimar so I can't see voidwalker as being terribly useful.

Gulf is the only one that I'd question for a pally... seems like it's a pretty vindictive and dishonorable thing to do to an opponent, forcibly teleporting them into the vacuum of space. I don't think pallys even have any teleport spells. So the only appreciable benefit you're getting is that you get 2 more class levels towards your sorc abilities. Only get the last one if you really need those 2 class levels for the saves.

So, at the end of the day, you're a pally with some AA/ranged support and a fascinate wall.

I'm a Musetouched Aasimar, all in all, I'm enjoying the concept of playing him as if he were a fallen star, something the GM is supporting me in. Does anyone think that there is something I can dip into not only for fluff, but to round me out?

EDIT: The game is going to 20th level, and my capstone ability is very appealing, but how about a dip into Bard? It'd allow me to use that +2 racial bonus for being Azata-touched...


That would be interesting. Run into battle singing songs of courage and raining meteors on your enemy's heads.
