I'm in an argument with another player over the abilities of the Alchemist's Tumor Familiar:

I want to take a viper, and he says it wont get the poison attack because it's a special ability. Who's right?

It gets all the abilities of the animal it resembles. A special ability is an ability, so the tumor familiar gets it.
