Can you split the Spherewalker bonus spells per day between two classes?

Rules Questions

Liberty's Edge

I am trying to plan a character who is both a devout follower of Desna (Cleric) as well as an arcane bookworm (Wizard). I will eventually go into the Mystic Theurge prestige class, but I was thinking that I would take some levels of Spherewalker first.

The reason I am bringing this up is that the text in the Spherewalker entry is a bit vague. It reads as follows:

"If the character had more than one spellcasting class before she became a spherewalker, she must choose which class she adds each spherewalker level to for the purpose of determining spells per day."

Does this mean that I can choose which spellcasting class I can improve at each individual level or that I must pick the class at first level that every Spherewalker level enhances?

Thank you for your input!

Typically with prestige classes you have to choose the class that it advances for spellcasting purposes as soon as you gain spell-casting from it and can't mix and match your advancement once you've chosen a particular casting class to advance. So if you decided to advance wizard, all of your levels in the prestige class will advance your wizard levels and just your wizard levels.

Thank you for responding. I thought so as well, but the "each" in the text threw me off. Thank you again!
