Question About Summoner Synthasist

I have a question about the Summoner Synthasist Archetype. It says in ultimate magic (pg 80) "While fused with his eidolon, the synthesist can
use all of his own abilities and gear." Does that mean that i can use all the weapons and armor the summoner is proficent with?

You gain the eidolon's qualities including its inability to wear armor. So while you are fused you cannot wear armor or cannot gain the benefit of armor.

So i assume i also cannot use weapons, unless i purchase the evolution?

Also could I use mage armor on myself while fused to get the +4 bonus?

you can wear armor, even while fused, you just gain no benefit from it while fused.

You can use weapons, because you use your skills and abilities (you have proficiency with it)

You may cast mage armor while fused providing you have limbs or have used still spell to eliminate the somatic component.
