Hello, I was curios on how Eidolons work with multiple attacks. Here are some of my questions:
Is the max attacks the maximum amount of attacks the eidolon can have and not the amount of different attacks it can do? Ex. Eidolon with max 3 can have 1 set of claws and a tail attack but not 2 sets of claw attacks
How do Primary and secondary attacks work in combat? Say if the Eidolon had weapon training, could it use all of its attacks since all of its primaries are treated as secondaries? Is it only allowed 1 primary attack per round?
Can a Eidolon take item back into there plane if summoned by ritual?
Can a Eidolon wear armor if in a humanoid shape?

The eidolon muist have that many means to attack with. FOr example using your set it must have 2 claws and a tail. So if you have an eidlon with a mouth it can bit with, a tail, and four arms with claws, yet it has three attacks. You can only pick three to attack with at a time.
Weapon attacks do not function with the max attacks. If you had an eidlon with 20 arms using daggers each arm would get an attack and the one of them would be primary.
They can wear armor, but I believe they get penatlies if a feat is not used for them.

Some DM's might be lenient but the rules say "possess" and not "use" so yeah, it means an "Eidolon with max 3 can have 1 set of claws and a tail attack but not 2 sets of claw attacks".

You can use all primary attacks as primary (there is no single primary attack any more like in 3e) as long as you don't use an actual weapon (or an unarmed strike). If you do all your natural attacks become secondary.

I think most reasonable DMs would say yes, but it's not a question without controversy.
