I currently play in a local Pathfinder Society group that is very, very random in how it shows. I am looking to play in a more consistent group, either Pathfinder Society or a regular Pathfinder campaign. I have to use public transportation, so any place near a T Station or T bus stop is preferable!
Please leave a response here, or get in touch with my on AIM or Yahoo!.

Quendishir,
If you can get to Cambridge on Sundays Pandemonium in Cambridge's Central Square is on the Redline. They host PFS games every Sunday 12-6 you can check the Scenarios being played on our Warhorn Site there you will also find a list of stores where PFS is played and when.
I hope this helped.

We also run a PFS gameday at Scholars in Bridgewater, MA which is about 1/2 mile from the Bridgewater commuter rail stop.
Comicazi is about 1 block from the Davis Square red line stop. They run games on alternating Thursday nights at 5:30 sharp.
You can see most of the PFS games available on the warhorn site Lucas posted above.
I recommend joining the yahoo group listed on our warhorn site main page. It will put you in touch with the local PFS community. You might even find a local group running a home Pathfinder game that way.

So after looking over the list, I'm not comfortable with having to pay in order to play. Medieval Starship in Pembroke has been running them for free so people can play and have fun. I'm not okay with have to pay up to $5.00 per session, especially if I need to buy the books and everything.
Do keep in mind that the GM needs to buy the scenario for $4 every week (twice the ticket cost), probably needs to buy more books than a player, and receives the player's ticket money at Pandemonium as store credit. And the income allows us to have good leverage over the store when other events (especially MtG) want all the space. I mean, it costs $1.75 just to get there on the T and another $1.75 back. $2 which goes straight to the GMs and ensures secure tables to play in the future doesn't seem like too much to ask to me.
Disclaimer: I'm a volunteer who helps Don coordinate for the Sunday games at Pandy.

Ah, see now I understand. I was unaware that it was because stuff had to be bought; I assumed it was something given to the store. I guess I'm spoiled in that I only had to buy the books for my characters (Ultimate Combat and the PHB) and don't have to pay a weekly fee.
I will definitely check it out! As an aside, can I use the character I have for PFS at Medieval Starship, or do I need a new character?

As long as the games you've played with your PFS legal character have all been PFS adventures and you have Chronicle sheets for them, you can use that character in any PFS game (at the correct level) anywhere in the world.
On the main page of the Warhorn site under the Community section, the costs for each venue are explained.
Pandemonium is a $2 per game fee that goes to the GM as store credit.
Comicazi is a $1 fee per game, paid to the store.
Scholars is a $5 fee (for both games that day) returned to the player as a $6 credit voucher for purchases at the store. It has been in place for 2 months and the first month the owner gave $7 back in credit for the $5 fee. The second month the owner gave us $8 in credit for the $5 fee. I can't promise it will be more than $6 each month, but so far it is a very good deal.
Also, if you have a chance to GM at Pandemonium you will earn between $6 and $14 in store credit depending on the number of players you have.

Don,
It's a possibility that I may take over some DMing for my group down at Medieval Starship. I'm still working on the details for that. I was wondering if I needed to "upload" the information for my events to the PFS site. My current GM apparently hasn't been doing that, but I still have the Chronicle sheets.

Quendishir,
Please send me an email (BostonPFS@gmail.com) with the information from your Chronicle sheets.
Scenario
Date
Location
GM Name
GM number
Player Name & Number
Player PC Name & Number
Faction & Prestige Points
I can add records to update your online data - you have no reported sessions at present.
You should create a Paizo event (about 2 weeks before each session) on Paizo.com at My PFS under the GM/Coordinator tab.
If you can, please name the event: <location> <date>
Example: Starship 11/4/2012
I would be happy to list the event on our Warhorn site. Just let me know.
