Advice for ship board encounters

Advice

Ok i'm starting a campaign this Sunday that I plan to at least initially be all aboard ship or close to the ship(they were impressed on to the ship so the captain isn't going to risk them running away early on). The party is lvl 1 so i'm looking for low level encounters. On ship works there will be friction between the crew and a faction of the crew is planning a mutiny but they don't know that. Combat or role playing themed encounters are both welcome. Thx.

Have you taken a look at skulls and shackles? If not do so.

plot:
The first book is all about the pc's working there way to a mutiny against two NPC's that have been treating them like dirt or worse. The players guide also comes with rules explaining ship to ship combat. The Adventure Path book 1 teaches the pc's to board ships. Its well worth looking at.

is it available online or do I have to buy it...ive been looking at stormwrack from 3.5 for some rule frame work...

wow reading the plot that is alarmingly similar to what i had planned

The players guide is free.
The first book of the Adventure path isn't.

So far I have gotten 50% of the way through the book with 2 groups as the gm and 1 group as a player so I can say its a good book.

Ok i'll look into getting that but assuming I don't get that any other advice?

Be careful as ship to ship combat can be tricky and make sure the main point of the event is what really gets presented.
