If a paladin and his special mount should die, and the mount is carrying magic items (ie; bags of holding, magic armor that was purchased for the mount, etc.), where do the magic items go? Do they go to the great stable in the sky with the mount or is it a free for all lootfest along with the paladins possesions?
Hwhat? Not sure but I guess that depends on how the GM handles the death of your mount. Does the corpse mysteriously vanish into thin air along with everything on it including the rider? Unlikely. So if your GM is reasonable, I'd say you can recover your gear from its corpse :)
