Why two attack roll mods for one weapon?

Rules Questions

The NPC stat block for Shalelu has 2 attack roll mods for each of her weapons:

Melee: mwk short sword: +8/+3 (1d6+1)
Ranged: +1 composite shortbow +11/+6 (1d8+1)

What is the +8/+3 and +11/+6?

Can't find advice on this in any of the books. Is it something to do with her multiclass elf fighter 2/ranger 4?

Thanks

Those are her iterative attacks for having a +6 or higher BAB.

Multiple attacks from her Base Attack Bonus. She gets 1 attack at +8 with her short sword, and a second attack at +3. Her bow gets 1 attack at +11, and a second attack at +6.

I dont have the stat block but assuming she doesnt have weapon finese and only 12 str then its BAB +6 +1 Str + 1 for MW and the damage is the +1 from strength

Assuming the Dex is 18 then BAB +6, +4 for Dex and +1 for the bow. The damage is the +1 due to the composite bow bonus...

Thanks for clearing this up guys
