Is there a feat to increase effective Sneak Attack level?

Rules Questions

All,

Just as there are feats to bump up the level of animal companion or effective spellcasting level, I was wondering if there are any feats to bump up effective Sneak Attack level?

Thanks!

Huh. No.

The only thing I can find is Precise Strike, which gives you an extra 1d6 damage any time you're flanking, and it stacks with sneak attack.

That's an interesting gap. It seems like a no-brainer. Can anyone comment on this? Is it a game balance issue? I don't pretend to understand the complexities of same, but if a class feature like Hex can be extra'd, surely Sneak Attack is in a similar category?

I imagine that this gap-feat is missing for the same reason Paizo has consistently decided to avoid adding a +spellcaster feat like Practiced Spellcaster of 3.5. This sort of feat encourages exploitative dipping.

I think feats like Boon Companion exist because if you're sticking with an animal companion class if you choose to dip at all your companion will suffer to the point of being ineffectual in combat. Where-as if you dip outside of rogue (smartly, I mean) you usually end up with more than you started with, minus 1-2d6 sneak attack dice.
