Stunning fist monk question..

Hi all, so we have a monk in our group who has stunning fist at level 1. The language is a little vague. It says during your turn you can use it. Let's say the initiative order is... a rogue, then goblins then monk. If the monk uses stunning blow and lands it, does that carry over to the next round because the monk was last and the goblins have already gone this turn? Thanks.
