Allergy Reaction vs Neutralize Posion / Anti-Toxin

Looking to have a NPC get hit with an allergic reaction. My story plot aside, wanted to get consensus if Antitoxin or Neutralize Poison would counter a allergic reaction. Thoughts?

If its poison ivy, sure it would work its poison after all. ;-)

Seriously, if we take the wikipedia definition of allergy it is called a "hypersensitivity disorder of the immune system." That sounds more like a disease to me.

Some people eating mangoes can get poison ivy like reactions, that is no reason to consider a mango toxic.
