So a Huge (9 squares) T-Rex took a bite out of me, and the GM said next round it will swallow you whole. I was a medium creature under the effects of Enlarge, so effectivly a Large creature (4 squares). I argued that the T-Rex could eat my medium buddies, but not a large me.
The GM aggreed, but I would like to know for sure. Can a Huge swallow whole a Large. I guess, it could also be worded, could a large swallow whole a medium?
Yes a Huge can swallow a Large. This is on page 305 of the Bestiary. Note: Some monsters modify this.
Unless otherwise noted, the opponent can be up to one size category smaller than the swallowing creature.
The Tyrannosaurus is Gargantuan, so it can swallow up to Huge. A Young Tyrannosaurus would be Huge and could swallow Large.

Honestly, grapple is not that big a deal if you are properly prepared.

Well, there are several spells and powers that could be of help.
Most spellcasters have a level 1 spell called Liberating Command. It is cast as an immediate action and gives the target an immediate action to free themselves with an Escape Artist check (+caster level*2 competence bonus, max+20).
Freedom of Movement makes you immune to grapple. A wand of it is possible (although very expensive at 21000gp or 420 per charge). I hope your GM allows you to buy partially charged wands.
Level 8 Clerics with the Liberation Domain can make the entire group (within 30feet) immune to grapple as a standard action.
The spell Grease gives a +10 circumstance bonus to CMD to avoid being grappled and to CMB/Escape Artist to escape a grapple. Oil (potion) of Grease is 50gp. A wand of Grease is a steal at 750gp (15gp/charge).
Wizards with the Conjuration subschool Teleportation can use a Supernatural swift action to shift (dimension door) out of the grapple.
The list goes on.
My top suggestions are Grease, Liberating Command (prefferably in combination with Grease), and Freedom of Movement.
If a level 10 (primary) spellcaster casts Liberating Command on a greased subject, that subject has a +30 bonus to escape artist as an immediate action.

Edit: Both the bard and the sorcerer have access to Liberating Command and Grease. You should be well covered. Have one of them take Liberating Command as a known spell, then get them wands of Grease. Wait to use liberating command until after you have been greased and then they can burn an immediate action to cast liberating command.
