Stunning fist duration using crane riposte

stunning fist lasts 1 rd (until just before you next turn)...which one is it? If i us crane riposte and stun them when does the stun end? Right before my next turn ? Or 1 rd?

It ends just before that point in the initiative comes up again.

If you stun them on their turn then the stun ends just before their turn comes up again in the next round.
