Dang... Lisa has a lot to answer for after her blog introduced me to Kickstarter. I've already pledged for Reaper Bones and Low Life which have already completed.
I'm also backing Bombshell Babes (join in everyone, lots more cool minis to unlock still!) and Dreadball (a great looking miniatures game). I've spent a large chunk of my entertainment budget for the next few months, but really looking forward to all of these things.
It's a bit intimidating though. I'm far from being a prolific painter and that's going to be something like 400 miniatures all up. Given that I've painted a total of 12 miniatures over the last few years this could take a while... But I have gifts sorted for my gamer friends for ages and it's a fun kind of problem to have!

Since you aren't a prolific painter, you should get in on the Dungeon Crawler Minis Kickstarter. Pre-painted plastic! No painting, ready to go! (unless you want unpainted ones, they do that too).
Cheers!

Thanks for the tip! I did notice that one before and have been thinking about it, the finances are a bit light right now for this kind of thing but there's quite a long time before I'll be charged so I may well end up going for it. The lack of certainty around the shipping puts me off a little too. I understand why that's the case, but as a New Zealander it's potentially a pretty significant element of the cost.
Do you have any of the Dungeon Crawler minis from the previous line at all? Just curious how they stack up compared to something like Pathfinder Battles.

I'm in on that one - that massive Water Elemental will complete my 4 base elements in huge size!! Going for unpainted as I save some money and am really enjoying my return to mini painting!

The last time I held a paintbrush to a miniature was back in high school, more than 2 decades ago but I am looking forward to re-learning when my Reaper Bones goodies arrive. My nephew and niece have already called dibs on their favourites.
There are a lot of really cool Kickstarter gaming projects going on and it looks like I'm going to have minis and books for several years stocked up soon.

You people aren't helping. Though I did get the Reaper pledge manager thing today which was pretty cool...
What also isn't helping is this! Classic D&D characters, similar to those from the old cartoon, only now in adorable chibi form! Must... resist... Who am I kidding...? *pledge pledge pledge*

Kickstarter Addiction? Is it really an addiction when it is so good for you?
For example - 30 hours left to get in on Reality Blur's tremulus HERE.
Come on, who doesn't want to go to Innsmouth (did I mention Ken Hite?!?)?
Now this isn't D20 or anything really all that close...so that might be a bit of a departure for some, but read through some of the Updates and reviews. This seems like the perfect One-Off for those nights when some players are missing...
Yes, I'm being selfish, I want the Innsmouth stretch goal so I want more backers to come help....please!!!

for people like me looking to use lots of maps!
You can also pledge as low as $1 for adding your own NPC to their guide to be published with the maps, and for a $100 pledge you can get 20 double-sided battlemaps in 18x24! There are lower pledges if you want less maps too, and if they reach stretch goals you get more maps for free.
