Making Linnorm Scale Armor.

Advice

In the book Lands of the Linnorm Kings, it is mentioned in a timeline paragraph about Linnorm-Scale Armor.

"4648 Aurnlagr the Fearless disappears in the Black Tarn,
wearing his linnorm-scale armor and carrying the
sword Rixbrand."

I was wondering what you guys think Linnorm-scale armor would be like?

I think it would be dragon scale armor by another name.

Yea I was thinking that too, but maybe you guys had some Linnorm-Scale armor that you have made in the past

Nope, in my own games, Dragon hide armor is a catch all for any skin made from any dragon or draconic creature. So, linnorms, dragons, dragonnes, half-dragons, whatever.

Having read this I can't help but imagine tiny creatures wearing fairy dragon armor. That or someone harvesting enough fairy dragon scales to make armor for a small or medium character. (Fairy dragon farming?)

I had a character who was a Paladin of Bahamut in a game who met a smith Avatar of the god who offered a suit of dragonhide armor as a reward. Any type of dragonhide, the player picked Fairy Dragon Full Plate. :)

That would be some very classy looking armor. I can imagine bards everywhere would want a set.

Cursed :)
