"Ability bonuses with a duration greater than 1 day actually increase the relevant ability score after 24 hours. Modify all skills and statistics related to that ability. This might cause you to gain skill points, hit points, and other bonuses. These bonuses should be noted separately in case they are removed."
Are there any spells, magic items, etc. that give an ability score onus with a duration longer than 24 hours? I know manuals and tomes give an inherent bonus, but they don't stack. Any suggestions?

It also only works on spells that last 10 minutes per level or longer. These only last one minute per level.
And even if it worked, it wouldn't stack with a belt/headband (both are enhancement bonuses) and costs more than adding a +4 [attribute] effect to a belt/headband. So it's a less cost-effective way of doing exactly the same thing as a belt/headband.

I think you may be misunderstanding. If you were somehow able to extend bull's strength to 48 hours it would not permanently alter your STR score. The rule you quote refers to things like headbands and belts. Fox's cunning won't grant a spellcaster extra spells per day, but if you somehow have it for more than 24 hours, it does, at least until it wears off. Likewise, headbands and belts give you all the benefits of actually having a score that high, such as extra hp for belts of mighty Con, extra spells per day for headbands, etc.

Too bad the SRD isn't cross-referenceable by spell duration.
Yes, belts and headbands have a duration longer than 24 hrs but they don't permanently alter an ability score after 24 hrs. That would be amazing but not the case.
Actually the rule you quoted in your first post is meant specifically for items like belts and headbands. You wear a belt of STR for 24 hours and your STR score is now treated as being higher for things like feat pre-reqs. You record the bonus separately in case you lose the belt and end up no longer qualifying for your feat. Same thing with INT and skill points or bonus spells.
