In the spell status it states that
You are aware of direction and distance to the creatures and any conditions affecting them: unharmed, wounded...
What I am asking is what exactly is the definition of "wounded"? Would the spell ping if you were exactly 1 hp below max? Maybe down 10hp, or 50%? Really I am asking how you would play it in your game. Will affect how quickly the dungeon boss comes to save the McGuffin guard. Thanks.

Honestly, it's a good question, and definitely FAQ-Worthy. The problem with this spell is that it doesn't list if you know how wounded the target is. For example, if I am a 3rd level Fighter down to 2 hit points, you only know I've suffered damage. You don't know how much HP I have, so if you were to cast a spell on me, you wouldn't exactly know which cure spell to cast that is the most effective.
I will FAQ this, though I believe how you determine a character's "wounded' level should be left up to GM FIAT at this point. Personally, if you're going to cast a spell that will allow you to monitor a character's condition and it has varying severities (and cumulative conditions), you should know just how wounded they are, just as how you know they are poisoned and sickened.
