Power Attack!
Power Attack at level 1, hands down.
Avoid Cleave IMO, it makes you a stud at level 3 but is outdated by level 7. (Unless you are surrounded and threatened by 2+ enemies on a very regular basis, the Cleave feat tree is pretty situational)
At level 3, Furious Focus negates the power attack penalty for 1 attack, so every time you are limited to 1 attack per round you will take no penalty to hit dudes hard on your turn. The PA penalty will still apply to AoOs, but your smite good ability will help to negate that! (Alot of campaigns have evil NPCs as the enemy, so smite good is generally far less handy than smite evil. But more power to you for taking flavor over optimization, not many people do.)
I've never played a paladin, but I understand the feats that add affects to your LoHands and Smite Alignment are pretty cool. At level 8 Improved Critical is virtually a must-have for 19-20 and 18-20 crit range weapons.
When I make a character, I usually think of the flavor/role/class I want to play first, then look at feats to further tailor it. You have a pretty good start knowing you want to play a 2-Hander evil knight. Felling Smash is a little feat intensive, but really cool flavor wise..... it'd be pretty awesome to knock down a goody-2-shoes cleric while using Smite Good, and pick up Gr. Trip to get the free AoO when you knock him flat on his butt =)
EDIT: i'm actually stealing this idea for a future character or NPC BBEG, it's just too cool not to!
