What piece of Technology do you think they will invent that will make the world interesting to live in again?

1. THE LOOKING GLASS: A Phone which is a tera-pixel camera which when put next to other such phones can form a cloud device (an automatic sharing network) where parts of the same image photographed/video recorded/broadcast can be displayed across the group of phones making use of a larger display area.

This year? Probably nothing. Just bigger and better versions of what we already have. A more powerful PC is nice, but it's nothing mind-blowingly impressive.

I personally probably won't get too excited about anything technologically until we get holodecks.

If you can't find interest in the world with what we have now, I truly pity you. All one should need, is a half way decent camera and a bicycle.

Perhaps that's the key. Riding on a bike, I see a lot more than when I'm riding in a car or a plane. Perhaps what we need is to slow down our obsessions so that we can make time to cultivate our interests.
