In short, I really like the concept of the spell-less ranger, but what I don't like is the lack of options you get. Toe to toe, it seems that the skirmisher can't stand against a regular ranger. This is unfortunate. My hope was that we might see more Hunter's Tricks to flesh this archetype out, but alas, I can't find any. Help?

The spell-less ranger PDF is full of new options, though as a new class and new feats, rather than purely for the skirmisher.

I'm gonna have to second this. If you are looking for a non-spellcasting ranger, I think the spell-less ranger PDF is worth a look. It has a large number of Ranger Talents (very similar to hunters tricks)

If you are looking for possible talents or ways to spice up a spellless ranger, you might want to check outRanger Options: Knacks of Nature by Super Genius Games. While the Spellless Ranger from Open Design looks like a good class, it isn't Open Content, so what you see is what you get, unless Open Design decides to add more material in the future.

Super Genius Games also did a Spell-less Ranger feats PDF ...

Yes, which is why I added the "unless Open Design decides to add more material in the future" part. Super Genius Games couldn't add something without the approval of Open Design. That said, I do get your point that Open Design seems fairly willing to share their content despite the more restrictive text in the OGL statement.
What I'm guessing I'm getting at, is given the restrictions I don't see a lot of other support for the class from other publishers (say for example the wide range of support books for the Cavalier, Witch, Magus, etc from a number of publishers).
