Mutagenic Form and alternate Mutagen effects

Rules Questions

Typing from phone so unable to type properly.

Anyways, how does the alternate "special" Mutagens like the Beastmorph Alchemists Mutagen interact with the Master Chymists Mutagenic Form.

Been working on the stereotypical Jekyll/Hyde/Hulk character that turns into a Umber Hulk-esque monstrosity at the drop of a hat, and just wanted to know if it would work of not.

2 hour bump

It would seem that they would behave normally, with the added effects of the Mutagenic Form.

So if I use the Master Chymists mutagenic form ability, I would also be able to add the abilities from Beast shape to it as well, right?

Grand Lodge

Yes.
Mutagenic Form also works with Cognatogens.

Very interesting, but it wouldn't allow you to have both at the same time, I assume

Grand Lodge

Both of what?

Grand Lodge

Off to game. I will see about giving you a hand later.

Mutagen and Cognatogen, Which brings up the question of, if your in a mutagen barred mutagenic form then imbibe a Cognatogen, what happens? Do you Revert back to normal form, with the Cognatogen bonuses applied, or something else?

I dont know what a mutagen barred mutagenic form is, if you mean if your in mutagen or masterchemist form, and you use a gognatogen what happens... I believe your beastmorph or masterchemist mutagen ends, you take the temporary stat damage, and your cognatogen begins...

Sorry, Meant mutagen based Mutagenic form, as in a Mutagenic form that buffs physical attributes, typing from phone, so expect some mistakes.

All limitations of mutagens apply to cognatogens as if they were the same substance—an alchemist can only maintain one mutagen or cognatogen at a time, a cognatogen that is not in an alchemist's possession becomes inert, drinking a cognatogen makes a non-alchemist sick, and so on.

Whenever an alchemist drinks a mutagen, the effects of any previous mutagen immediately end.

As for the beastmorph, it's worth noting that "Greater Beastform Mutagen" and "Grand Beastform Mutagen" are class abilities granted at 10th and 14th alchemist level respectively and wouldn't advance. Much like Master Chmyst loses access to persistent mutagen.

well... unless you have the infused mutagen discovery... only way to give you the option of going from mutagen to cognatogen (kinda sucks for the cost of a discovery)
