After Book 4, The players went to Janderhoff to sell a shield from the stone giant fighter's collection at Jorgenfist. While they were there, they warned the dwarf lord of the far-reaching lamia conspiracy to brand greedy souls and (diplomatically) suggested that the dwarves might be a target.
At the start of book 6, instead of the whole Brodert Quink lead (he never amounted to much in my campaign with the wizard covering all knowledges) the dwarf lord called the to an audience. A big banquet was held in their honor, and never short of bravado, the dwarflord unveiled their new "statue", a lamia matriarch turned to stone.
He then told the players that his clerks had searched the archives to help them in their quest, and supplied them with all of the information Janderhoff had on Xin Shalast, including the last known whereabouts of Silas and Karivek Vekker's mining expedition.

I have a Dwarven Rogue, in one of my RotRL campaigns, from Janderhoff and I'm looking to do quite a bit with the place once we hit about Book Three to Four-ish.
I've been tossing a couple of thoughts around but nothing major yet. I would love to see Janderhoff detailed more heavily in the Campaign Setting. Even if it was just a 8 to 10 page mini-gazetteer for now. I've been wanting more on this place since I first read about it years ago.
