Dodge, Mobility, and Max Dex Bonus

Rules Questions

I have an armor question I'm a little unclear on. Does a particular armor's max dexterity bonus apply to the Dodge and Mobility feats, limiting their effectiveness, or does the armor's max dexterity bonus only apply to the dexterity bonus to AC?

Thanks in advance.

It only limits your Dexterity bonus to AC. It doesn't reduce it for any other purpose (so you don't lose access to them), and it doesn't have any effect on dodge bonuses (which those feats provide).

The Exchange

Dodge gives you a +1 dodge bonus not a +1 Dex bonus and as such is unaffected by max Dex bonus to AC.

Dodge (Combat)
Your training and reflexes allow you to react swiftly to avoid an opponents' attacks.
Prerequisite: Dex 13.
Benefit: You gain a +1 dodge bonus to your AC. A condition that makes you lose your Dex bonus to AC also makes you lose the benefits of this feat.

You may be thinking of the last line where it tells you that you will loose your dodge bonus if you loose your Dex bonus. You loose your Dex bonus when you are flat footed or when anything other condition you acquire causes it.

Mobility (Combat)
You can easily move through a dangerous melee.
Prerequisites: Dex 13, Dodge.
Benefit: You get a +4 dodge bonus to Armor Class against attacks of opportunity caused when you move out of or within a threatened area. A condition that makes you lose your Dexterity bonus to Armor Class (if any) also makes you lose dodge bonuses.
Dodge bonuses stack with each other, unlike most types of bonuses.

It says much the same in Mobility and works the same way.
