I am running Rise of the Runelords for a group of 5/6 players using Savage Worlds rules (I've been posting the session reports here: http://paizo.com/forums/dmtz5cxt?-Rise-of-the-Runelords-AP) and am looking to add some extra encounters to the third module (Hook Mountain Massacre). One of the players is getting married to Ameiko Kaijitsu (he played an Adventure Card to establish her as a love interest during Burnt Offerings) and I'm pushing for him to take their honeymoon aboard the Paradise. Eventually they'll realise that Lucrecia is the sister of the Lamia they killed in Magnimar and is holding a murderous grudge (this confrontation should ends in the boat sinking - as per the adventure - and Lucrecia escaping to reappear later), but I was hoping some of you suggest some encounters along the river to spice up the journey. As the river runs along the northern edge of the Mushfens, I was thinking about having Boggards attack the boat or the river being blocked by a bathing swamp giant who wants advice courting a female giant. Suggestions welcomed! :D
