Hey there! Any Paizonians going to PAX Prime? I'm going there, and while I will be demoing a game at the Game Salute booth a great deal of the time, I would like the chance to meet some of the Paizo community. If you see me, say hi! If you want to track me down, tweet at me: I'm @coffeeswiller on Twitter. Who's going to be thee?

I will be there on Friday (in the PF OP area all day, two seminars that night) and Sunday (mostly to take in the show, but I'll be in the PF OP area a lot that day too). I'm not there Saturday, as I'll be at my best friend's wedding.
My seminars are:
D&D vs STORY GAMES
D&D and Pathfinder may be the most well-known role-playing games, but indie games like Fiasco and Polaris are becoming more popular. Can these two genres co-exist in the same room together? What do they have in common, and what are the benefits and limitations of each style of play? Is it possible to like both? Industry experts and indie creators discuss the differences between traditional tabletop role-playing games, GM-less story games, and everything in between.
Panelists: Erik Mona [Publisher, Paizo] Wolfgang Baur [Editor-in-Chief, Kobold Quarterly, Open Design], Ben Robbins [Creator, Microscope],
FRIDAY 8-9, Tabeltop Theater, Red Lion Hotel
THE ART OF THE TABLE
The Art of the Table is back to delve into the heart of what makes for a truly great experience at the gaming table! You’ve spent years harrying your players, running them ragged in diabolical adventures and fiendish dungeons… Or maybe you’ve left a trail of broken GMs and mangled quests in your wake. When rules knowledge is no longer an issue, how can focusing on such things as improvisation, in-character roleplay, and story structure help enhance a game? Does the alignment of your gaming table really matter? Just which house rules really work? Come dig deeper into what makes a good RPG and what turns a good GM into a great one.
Ben Mandall [Veteran GM, The Art of the Table], Jeff Fasenfest [DNS Magician, Tentacles Ink], Sage LaTorra [Game Designer & Author, Sage Kobold Productions], Ryan Macklin [Game Designer & Author, Freelance], Jess Hartley [Wordsmith, Mad Muse Studios], Erik Mona [Publisher, Paizo Publishing], Robert Gifford [Instigator, Geek Chic], Mat Margalis [Scruffy Looking Nerf Herder, LARPWright Productions] Travis Stout
FRIDAY 9-10, Raven Theater

Ssallarn, I hope to run into you!
Erik, the D&D vs Story Games looks very interesting; I'll definitely try to make it. The design studio I am a part of, Escapade Games, will actually be there demoing our upcoming story game, Story Realms (linked to the BGG entry), which is hopefully starting its Game Salute-backed Kickstarter campaign this weekend, too. My wife and our friend are the designers. I hope you get a chance to check it out!

I will be on the lookout for any and all Paizoites next year. Already convinced the wife we need to grab a hotel for the weekend room for the weekend because driving from Puyallup everyday would suck!
Looking forward the the post-PAX Prime stories!
The trick is to get your room reserved the same day they confirm the event dates :P
The hotel finder tool on the PAX site can be great, but their associated hotels fill up fast.

Is the Paizo room going to be in the same place as last year, or has it been moved deeper into the con?
The room seemed to be in the perfect place to get tons of foot traffic last year.
We're set to be in the same spot we were last year! I'll be there on Saturday, so I'll see folks at the show.
