Kitsune Legal Race to chose?

Pathfinder Society

Sorry I'm still new and I'm making my first Pathfinder character. I was reading the rules about races and Kitsune isn't legal (Page 7). Although in this document "http://paizo.com/pathfinderSociety/about/additionalResources" it says Kitsune are Legal. So could I play one or is it not a legal race to chose?

You need a Chronicle to play it.

It is a legal option, but a special "boon" chronicle sheet is needed to gain access (there are a few races that are like this). The boons are given as prizes at conventions, as one way of to encourage attendance.

I read what a Chronicle is just now and I want to make sure I have this right. A Chronicle is a sheet just to show stuff from past campaigns right? You have to have one of those for every character right?

Ok so that means I can't be one for my first time playing?

Expanding upon Knight's post: you can't play a kitsune unless you won/received a special chronicle sheet (called a "boon") which let's you create a kitsune.

In other words: for you, it isn't currently legal (the boon is very clear) -- but it might be in the future...

Correct ludacrits!

Thanks fellas. I just I will have to rethink my bard. =D

You can always make that you second character, after you get a boon.

Grand Lodge 4/5

Point of order: Pathfinder Society is the campaign. The adventures you go on are called scenarios (or modules, in the case of playing a sanctioned module).
