Gunslinger BAB

Rules Questions

Starting at level 6 a Gunslinger's BAB is listed as multiple numbers (e.g. +6/+1); I can't find anything in the features that explains this. My best guess is that they get two shots, the first at +6 the second at +1. Would that be correct?

From the core book under getting started:

Quote:
Base Attack Bonus (BAB): Each creature has a base attack bonus and it represents its skill in combat. As a character gains levels or Hit Dice, his base attack bonus improves. When a creature's base attack bonus reaches +6, +11, or +16, he receives an additional attack in combat when he takes a full-attack action (which is one type of full-round action—see Combat).

Commonly referred to as iterative attacks. As Happler said it is for any class that has a BAB of 6 or more, not just gunslingers. Be sure to realize that the additional attack(s) only occur during a full-attack action. Good luck!
