So I was thinking of making a rage prophet for PFS. I'm not aiming too high, just a fairly basic concept. I wanted to take the classic self-healing brute idea to the rage prophet level. Here's the plan:
Human, Heart of the Fields, Dangerously Curious & Charming traits
STR 17 (15+2)(+1 at level 4)
DEX 14
CON 14
INT 7 (+1 at level 8)
WIS 10
CHA 15
Level progression:
Barb 1/Oracle 4/Barb 1/Rage Prophet 6
Curse - Tongues
Mystery - Life (lvl 1/3):
Channel Energy/Energy Body
Feats:
Power Attack & Raging Vitality/quick channel/extra channel/extra rage power/extra rage power
Rage powers:
Moment of Clarity/Roused Anger/No Escape
Starting spells:
Light, Guidance, Create Water, Mending
Command, Comprehend Languages, Cure Light Wounds
(taking recommendations for later levels)
I assumed I'd simply use a breastplate and greatsword as well. I also planned to buy a 3-STR composite longbow, some arrows, a wand of CLW, and dagger. Of course I can't afford all of them right away, but by level 2 I should have them. So... input?

I am building a Rage prophet for PFS as well. He is a bit different as he chucks greatswords at enemies he can't reach.
The default best Oracle curse for this build is Lame. This will make you immune to fatigue at higher levels. Letting you go into and out of rage at will. however it is not my favorite flavor-wise.
You might also look at the battle mystery. It gives good leveling bonuses and includes combat healer which is a great one for oracles on the front line.
The build looks solid though, you can run with that a long time. You probably don't want command though. Your DC will be very low so it won't work very often. Maybe bless? or enlarge person?

I don't think I can take Enlarge, but yes I'd thought of that with Command. I considered taking Summon Monster, in case of... whatever. Or maybe Endure Elements.
I like the life mystery because Energy Body would let me heal myself (or others) as a move action while active, and quick channel would let me heal everyone as a move action. I could be constantly swinging my sword to kill things, and still healing myself and the party the same turn.

I was going to agree that I'm surprised you went with Tongues over Lame. The barbarian fast movement cancels out the penalty from Lame and ultimately makes you immune to fatigue, which is incredibly useful for a rager. battle Mystery would have been my suggestion as well, probably with a Falchion so you're critting 25% of the time.

So... input?
My two cents: I'm not sure if you're determined to use the Rage Prophet class or not, but you're almost certainly better off just taking a mix of barbarian and oracle levels.
Here's a couple of threads on the Rage Prophet:
Why are rage prophets so weak?
Rage Prophets That Don't Suck?

I see your point, but the whole Lame curse/every-round rage cycling/once-per-rage powers combo certainly makes the Rage Prophet more viable. And at the point of having 2 levels of Barb anyway, taking levels in Rage Prophet instead of Oracle only makes sense, due to the perks.
Also, @Ssalarn, can't I just get a keen falchion for that?
And @Seriphim84, combat healer is also a revelation for Life oracle.

Yes it is. As I said, your build is solid, those were just ideas to look at. Battle works well (the battle cry ability can help off set to hit problems)and The bonus feats that you can get are also nice (as Ssalarn pointed out). but life is nice too. however I do recommend combat healer over channel. You will have to spend an extra feat on channel and you will be healing your enemies unless your spend another as well.

if you want to go with Channel, i recommend considering Channel Smite Feat, possibly taking the Outsider Channel Feat to expand it's use. since Rage Prophet scales the Channel fully, this will be a very strong single attack option.
battle mystery is nice since you get a bunch of free feats (not just Imp Crit) AND
you don't have the 'need' for feat investment into Channeling...
your call, with CHA as your casting stat you can definitely be an effective Channeler.
i would consider lowering your CHA a bit and putting it into WIS. Will Saves are nice to pass.
to understand what you will be getting out of rage prophet, figure out what your spirit guardian bonuses will be at different levels, those are quite signifigant (and also benefit from rage cycle strategies).
looks like your general combat abilities are a bit low.
cleave is a good one you qualify for, and lunge3 and blindfight may be useful as well if you have room,.
Knockback is a nice (scaling) Barbarian Power,
if you take the Lame Curse, you don't need to take Renewed Anger really, which is nice.
There's plenty of other Rage Powers that are good that I'm not mentioning here.
