Canceling Ongoing Subscriptions?

Customer Service

Not sure if this should be posted here, but I felt it was the best place.

I've been interested in signing up for one of the Pathfinder Ongoing Subscriptions for a while, and after recently coming into some money, I started seriously considering signing up for one.

However, I was wondering if there was a way to cancel an ongoing subscription sometime down the line if, for instance, my priorities shifted and finding new employment was more important than getting Pathfinder books. I looked at the page for the different Ongoing subscriptions and, unless I'm just looking in the wrong place, I haven't seen anything that says you can cancel one after it's started.

Can you cancel a subscription and if so, how?

When you want to un-subscribe, you just email the Paizo customer support group.

Email customer.service@paizo.com or post in the Customer Service forums. They are usually quite responsive about it.

Yes. You can cancel your subscription several ways. You can email customer service, you can call customer service, and you can post in the customer service section of these very message boards.

You will find Paizo's customer service reps to be awesome, responsive and charming +20.

Plus, in similar ways, if something comes up in the subscription that you don't want, you can suspend it for a month and skip it.

All of the above.

Keep in mind that these aren't like subscriptions in the traditional sense - you don't subscribe for a year (and pay out) and then get stuff for a year.

They're more like a mont-to-month apartment rental. You pay for each month, and then when you're done, you stop paying and move out so long as you let the landlord know :)

Moving to Customer Service forum.

Technically, what you're describing is a cancel-and-resubscribe. A suspended subscription is when you still want to receive all the products, but you're moving or going on an extended trip or something and want them held for a month or two and then shipped all together.

Canceling and resubscribing is not a big deal, unless you're one of the 1075 trying to keep their "Charter Subscriber" tags. :)

Yep, 'suspend' was exactly the wrong term to use for what I was trying to say :) Thanks for the clarification.
