Metamagic and Magical Lineage

Also Wayang Spellhunter. The way I am reading both traits is that the spells chosen use one spell slot lower(Wayang) and one lower for the final level (Lineage). As neither is typed, I also assume they stack. So the question becomes, If I chose Shocking Grasp and apply both traits to it along with Intensified Spell and Elemental Spell, we should end up with a 1st level Shocking Grasp that can do either electrical or acid (if that is picked for Elemental Spell). Similarly if Toppling Spell is applied to Magic Missile and Magical lineage or wayang spellhunter is applied, we would have a 1st level spell that if successfully deals damage we also get to make multiple trip attacks for each missile hit.

Yes thats right those two abilities can help you save on metamagic cost making them more viable for use.

I typically take magical linage to extend my mage armor spells for free thus always doubling my caster level for the duration.
