Ki Arrow:

You imbue an arrow with your power and throw it at a target
up to 100 feet away. Make a ranged attack roll. If it hits, the
target takes damage from the arrow as if you had hit it with a
single unarmed strike (including your Strength bonus).

For DR purposes does the arrow do piercing damage(as arrow) or bludgeoning damage (as unarmed strike - possibly non-lethal)

Piercing, lethal. Not an official answer. Just mine.

You are still using the arrow so you would reference that on the weapon chart (piercing for the normal arrow, maybe something else if you use arrows from the other PFRPG sources). As for the lethal/non-lethal, you have the option as always, but would take the penalty of -4, as again you are using the arrow even though it does non arrow based damage (equal to your unarmed damage). The arrow isn't the unarmed strike and so you can't factor that in to ignore the penalty.
