Ok, watching Last of the Mohicans on AMC right now and was surprised to find Chingachook's Hockey stick of Doom is a real weapon. So what stats would you use for it? A great club?

From the looks of it, it seems like a double weapon-- the wooden head would have club or greatclub stats, while the blade on the other end would have heavy pick stats.
If it's a double weapon, then it would probably have the stats of a club and light pick. If it's big enough to be a two-hander, then I'd go with greatclub/heavy pick, but disallow using it as a double weapon, instead having the wielder pick which end to use on any given attack.

Most demonstrations of modern re-creations of the gunstock club (particularly in Okitchaw, if you want to talk about people from the cultures that originated the weapon) that i've seen treat it as a one-handed weapon that may be wielded two-handed, and alternate between using the bladed side for striking, and the crooked side opposite the blade for catching or tripping motions (not that you couldn't do this with the blade, as well!). The angle at which the blade sticks out makes it handy for disarming opponents, though this may be a more modern use of it. It is also very much viable as a ranged weapon, and a properly constructed gunstock club can be thrown much like an axe.
In other words, a variation on the throwing axe with a few extra qualities; a Light Exotic weapon that can be wielded two-handed to be treated as a Martial weapon, as follows:
Cost: 8 gp, Dmg (S): 1d4, Dmg (M): 1d6, Critical: x2, Range: 10 ft., Weight: 2 lbs., Type: P or B, Special: disarm, trip
I might also rule that the disarm, trip, and/or ranged aspects are not available if you're wielding it two-handed.
(It should be noted that Chingachgook's war club as seen in the film is perhaps a bit bigger than was typical of non-ceremonial gunstock clubs, combat-ready ones could often be a good deal shorter.)
