Howdy folks. New DM here, I've played a fair bit but never DMed before a few days ago.
I'm doing some prep for a session and I've designed a trap, or more appropriately a puzzle which punishes miscalculation! I don't know how to determine its CR, however, and therefore I don't know what level my players will have to be to face it.
Is there a standard way to calculate such things, based on what damage it does? If more detail is required I will provide it!
