Seeing as I thoroughly like playing as casters in nearly any game, I was browsing through the ultimate magic when I came across Words of Power. Finding an entirely new spell customization system, I was enthralled.
One thing, however, is that I was a little puzzled by the Effect Word Combinations table. Now, are you able to go past the three word effect limit? If so, by example, would a 4th level spell potentially be 1/0/0/0, and a 5th level could be 1/1/1/1, or 2/0/0/0? Just want clarification if my logic is correct or not.
In addition, I was wondering about the usage of metawords on Sorcerers. Does it extend the casting time similar to a normal metamagic feat?
If there's any other usually confusing clarifications, by all means let me know. Thank you ahead of time!

The table stops at 3 Effect Words for a good reason. The action economy is drastically altered by Wordcasting and extending beyond 3 would be particularly powerful. It is not intended to extrapolate the table to 4 or 5 Effect Words.
Metawords are not Metamagic Feats and do not increase the casting time of spells. They operate under a completely separate mechanic, namely that the use of Metawords is restricted to 1/2 Caster Level times per day (minimum 1).

No. Metawords are not Metamagic Feats and are, as such, not affected by class features, traits, or feats that apply to Metamagic Feats.
As a side note, you can cast a Wordspell that contains both Metawords and Metamagic Feats. A great example of this is Intensified Selected Lengthy Corrosive Bolt, which uses both the Intensified Metamagic Feat and the Lengthy Metaword. The spell would have the extended casting time for a Sorceror due to the Metamagic Feat and be a 3rd level Wordspell, using one of your daily Metaword uses (of which you'd have 3 at the minimum caster level).
