Hero Lab is telling me I get one more feat than I calculate myself and I can't figure out where it's coming from. Maybe you can help me figure it out. The characters is an Elf Sorcerer 1 / Wizard 7 with the Crossblooded and Wildblooded archetypes, the Draconic (black dragon) and Primal (Earth) bloodlines and the Admixture school.
I calculate that he should have feats: Four for levels 1-7, two for classes (Eschew Materials and Scribe Scroll), one bonus feat for wizard level 5, for a total of 7 feats. Hero Lab says I should have 8.
Any idea what I'm missing?
What feats do you currently have for the 1-7 and the wizard bonus feat?
Where is it telling you that you should have 8? On the feats tab, it just should say how many feats you get from leveling, excluding all other sources, with feats you get via class features and such showing up in green (but not counting against your feat limit). I plugged this character in (with no feats) and the Feats tab is telling me "0 of 4 (4 left)".

Purpleshirt, I was leaving out the proficiencies for simplicity's sake.
Just to help us nail this, can you confirm the following:
That there are no bonus feats on the Adjust tab.
Under Configure Character in the Character menu, which options are ticked.

Are you sure you don't accidentally have 9 character levels? Can you post a screenshot somewhere?
Or accidentally chose human instead of elf.

Q: I am gaining an extra feat when I should not be?
A: Do you have the "Advanced Player's Guide Hero Points" rules turned on? If so, did you check "Don't Use Hero Points" below your starting cash? If you did both of these it disables "Hero Points" and gives you a bonus feat as per the APG anti-hero rules.
