So recently our group was playing, and one of our characters who normally uses a net managed to score a hit on a PC riding a horse. There are specific minuses, like dex and attack, that it causes but nothing specific for being interfered with while riding.
There don't seem to be rules for what you can/can't do while riding and being entangled specifically so I was wondering:
1. Maybe I missed those rules somewhere? [Stored away in the Ultimate Combat or an appendix or something like that?]
2. Would the grapple effect rules be the correct ones to apply?
3. Is there anything about ride specifically that would interact with the entangle/grappled condition that is important here?
4. Should I just assume that since there are no specific rules that there are no conditions that come with it?
Obviously you need not answer all the above since an answer to one probably answers the others, but our group was really confused about this when it came up and we really wanted some clarification.

Generaly the thing to look at with Entangle (and where i think matters here) is with Entangle there are two types, the 'i got gunk on me but this gunk isnt attatched to anything type, and the 'the gunk is affixed to something else type'
Generally with Nets theres some sort of 'lead' that allow you to pull it back if it misses. So the Rider gets entangled (not the horse the rider) and the person who threw the net stil has the lead.
I would just give the rider a ride check witht he entangle penalties to stay on horse you can steer with your knees and the game i think already has rules for that.
At that point Id just have hte person witht he net use a Drag or similar mover to dismount them. in the case of the rider a CMB check vs the net persons CMD and give a bonus for the horse.
Really dont know if theres any actual rules covering any of thise. If the Net person doesnt have control of the lead then the Rider can just ride off steering with his knees.
